KATHMANDU, NEPAL – July 31, 2025 – Thai Airways, in partnership with its General Sales Agent (GSA) in Nepal, Society International Travels, today announced the successful conclusion of the “Give the Gift of Life” blood donation drive. The impactful community initiative took place in Hattisar, Kathmandu, on Thursday, July 31st, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

The event, organized by Society International Travels and Thai Airways, underscored both organizations’ deep commitment to social responsibility and supporting critical community needs. The primary goal was to bolster local blood reserves, providing essential support for patients requiring urgent transfusions, particularly during emergencies.

The drive witnessed enthusiastic participation, with 131 individuals generously donating blood. Participants included staff from Society International Travels, valued customers and clients, and professionals from the wider travel industry in Kathmandu. The Nepal Red Cross Society provided vital medical expertise, equipment, and oversight throughout the event, ensuring all procedures adhered to the highest standards of safety and efficiency.

In recognition of their altruistic contribution, all blood donors were presented with formal Certificates of Appreciation, symbolizing the profound gratitude of the organizers for their commitment to helping those in need.
