Myagdi, Sept 20: The Provincial Hospital in Beni has just taken a big step forward by expanding its specialist ‘General Surgery’ services. Now, patients can benefit from the expertise of Dr. M.B.S. (General Surgery), who is providing these essential services at the hospital.
Medical superintendent Dr. Hemant Bastola shared that with this expansion, the hospital has introduced surgical options for a variety of conditions. They are now equipped to handle surgeries for issues like knots, lipomas, and cysts, as well as hernias, hydroceles, appendicitis and other related treatments, including piles, fissures and fistulas.
Additionally, the hospital will offer care for wounds and injuries, skin and soft tissue surgeries along with other emergency and necessary general surgery services.
Dr. Bastola emphasized that the focus has been on maximizing the available resources, facilities and staff to enhance these specialist services.
