Kathmandu, Aug 5: Foreign Affairs Minister Shisir Khanal has laid emphasis on the need of further expansion of air connectivity, trade, tourism, education, technology and people’s level relations between Nepal and South Korea.
During the farewell call paid on Minister Khanal by Ambassador of the Republic of Korea, Park Taeyoung, at the Foreign Ministry today, Minister Khanal stressed the need of forwarding Nepal- South Korea trade, education and health as priority areas of cooperation, according to Foreign Minister Khanal’s Privet Secretariat.
Ambassador Park is returning home after completing his three-year term in Nepal.
Stating that it was necessary to find out new areas for investment, he expressed the view that partnership should be expanded in other areas of mutual cooperation along with energy and production sectors.
The Foreign Minister underlined that Korea’s Employment Permit System has become the model of Nepal-Korea relations, stressing the need of increasing collaboration between research organisations between the two countries in education sector.
Similarly, Ambassador Park expressed pleasure for getting opportunity to serve in Nepal and lauded the cultural diversity of Nepal.
