Kathmandu, Aug 4: Five parliament committees are holding meetings today. The federal parliament secretariat stated that the parliament committees relating to finance, international relations and tourism, industry, commerce and consumers rights, public policy and state affairs were holding their meetings later today.
The Finance Committee holding its meeting at 10:00 am is dwelling on the Bill designed to amend Nepal Rastra Bank Act, 2058.
The discussion in principle on Tourism Bill, 2081 with the related ministry is in the schedule of the International Relations and Tourism Committee.
The meeting of the Industry, Commerce and Consumers’ Rights Committee beginning at 10:00 am is conferring on management and supply of cooking gas.
The State Affairs and Good Governance Committee that is scheduled to begin at 11:00 am is discussing the theoretical issues and make clause-wise comments on the Bill relating to reviving then provisions of Nepal Special Service Act, 2042. Even a discussion is in schedule on report of the subcommittee relating to work procedure draft formulation.
The Public Policy and Delegated Legislation Committee is scheduled to hold a discussion with former chair of the Committee regarding government assurance.
