Kathmandu, July 31: Former Chairperson of the Nepal Telecommunications Authority (NTA), Bhupendra Bhandari, has been arrested for investigation over the Smart Telecom case.
Spokesperson at the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB), Senior Superintendent of Police Anup Shumsher JB Rana, told RSS that the team took him into custody last night from Dhapakhel, Lalitpur.
Rana further shared that CIB plans to present the accused Bhandari in court shortly to get permission to keep him in custody for investigation.
