Kathmandu – On the first trading day of the week today (Monday), the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has decreased by double digits. Starting the week with a decline, NEPSE’s turnover amount has also gone downhill compared to the previous trading day.

The NEPSE decreased by 20.27 points on Monday. Declining by 0.73 percent today compared to the previous trading day, NEPSE stopped at 2735.14 points.

On this day, the sensitive index also decreased by 2.62 points and stopped at 469.37 points. On a percentage basis, this is 0.55 percent lower compared to the previous trading day. Similarly, the float index decreased by 0.66 percent, and the sensitive float index decreased by 0.56 percent.

In the stock market on Monday, at least 9,236,677 unit shares were bought and sold through 56,845 transactions of 356 companies. According to this, a turnover of Rs 4.084 billion took place on Monday. This is lower compared to the previous trading day.
