HIMA AUS Offshore presents Hult Prize at IOE, Pulchowk Campus successfully hosted the two-day startup workshop “From Idea to Market” on February 6 and 7, 2026, at KMC Baghbazar, Kathmandu. The program ran from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM each day, bringing together students, aspiring entrepreneurs, and innovators eager to transform early-stage ideas into sustainable, market-ready businesses.
Day1 registration started at 9:30 AM and was hosted by Atharba Pal and Runishma Joshi. The opening welcomed participants on behalf of HIMA AUS Offshore presents Hult Prize at IOE, Pulchowk Campus, highlighting their shared commitment to creating impactful ventures. The ceremony began with a traditional plant watering ritual performed by Campus Director Raunak Mishra and the first session speaker Ms. Shreeya Giri, symbolizing growth and an eco-friendly start to the workshop.

Campus Director Raunak Mishra delivered opening remarks, setting an inspiring tone for the event and welcoming everyone to the transformative two-day journey.
The first session, “Canvas to Cash: Crafting the Revenue Model” (10:15 AM to 12:15 PM), was led by Shreeya Giri, Founder and Managing Director of Happy Minds and a Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia honoree for Social Impact in 2024. She guided participants through the Business Model Canvas, profitable revenue stream design, and impact metrics, blending structured frameworks with real-world inspiration from her mission to improve mental healthcare access in Nepal. The session included interactive discussions, group exercises.
A short networking break with tea and light refreshments followed, providing time to connect and exchange ideas.
The afternoon continued with “Legal Launchpad: Set Up Your Business Right” (12:45 PM to 2:15 PM), presented by Imita Subedi, Corporate Lawyer and Legal Associate at Khatapana. She offered practical, step-by-step guidance on registration, banking setup, founder agreements, statutory licensing, and avoiding common compliance mistakes. The interactive format featured live Q&A, sponsorship recognition, and a token presentation.
After a tea break, the final session of Day 1, “Capital & Growth: Mastering Startup Fundraising” (3:00 PM to 5:00 PM), was delivered by Niharika Chapagain, Investment Analyst at Dolma Impact Fund. She shared an investor’s perspective on funding options, investor-ready pitch decks, financial modeling, due diligence, valuations, and terms, equipping participants with data-driven strategies through discussion and examples.
Day 2, hosted by Atharba Pal and Samita Regmi, opened at 10:00 AM with a warm welcome and renewed sponsorship recognition to all partners.
The morning session, “From Concept to Customer: MVP Development” (10:15 AM to 11:30 AM), was led by Ram Sharma Bhattarai, Founder of Jyra Soft Technologies and Executive Member of the Artificial Intelligence Association of Nepal. He focused on user-centric design, core feature identification, and real-customer validation, drawing from his extensive experience in AI and software solutions. A khada ceremony and token presentation concluded the engaging session.
A short tea break transitioned into “Growth Engine: Sales & Marketing Mastery” (12:00 PM to 1:30 PM), facilitated by Shaurab Lohani, corporate trainer, leadership speaker, business consultant, and Country Representative for Trine University. Participants explored customer acquisition strategies, pricing, branding, and marketing roadmaps through dynamic, hands-on techniques emphasizing persuasive communication and trust-building.

Following a lunch break, the workshop concluded with “Startup Pitch: Tell Your Story, Win the Room” (2:30 PM to 5:00 PM), led by Snehalata R. Thapa, Mrs. Nepal International 2019 – 2nd Runner Up, entrepreneur, certified mentor, philanthropist, and founder of Sparkle Kids Academy. Teams delivered timed pitches (4-6 minutes) followed by judge feedback on storytelling, problem-solution fit, traction, and presentation skills. Certificates were distributed to hosts, and tokens of appreciation were presented to the speaker.
The entire event maintained a highly interactive atmosphere with group activities, live Q&A, mentorship moments, and networking opportunities. Giveaways from Kunyo Gears, Merchandise Grid Nepal, and Unibags added excitement, while gifts and tokens from Coatgenix and The Plant Room were presented to speakers and contributors.
The workshop concluded with a speech by Mr. Riyaj Nepal, National Coordinator of Hult Prize Nepal, who shared powerful insights on nurturing young changemakers and encouraged participants to continue their entrepreneurial journey with the Hult Prize chapter.
