Kathmandu, Sept 24: Prime Minister Sushila Karki is scheduled to address the nation next day, Thursday evening. According to the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, a Cabinet meeting will be held at 4:00 PM on Thursday which follows PM Karki’s address to the nation at 6:00 PM the same day.
This will be her first address to the nation after she assumed office as the Head of the interim government backed by Gen-Z people.
On September 12, former Chief Justice Karki was appointed the Prime Minister following in light of Gen-Z protests occurred on September 8 and 9.
The interim government led by Karki had dissolved the House of Representatives and announced elections on March 5 next year.
