Kathmandu, May 22: Hearing on the habeas corpus writ petition filed by Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chair Rabi Lamichhane has been postponed after a hearing could not be completed at the Supreme Court today.
Hearing on the case has been postponed after initial hearing before the division bench of Justices Dr Nahakul Subedi and Balkrishna Dhakal. According to Supreme Court spokesperson Achyut Kuinkel, the case has been scheduled for hearing tomorrow.
The habeas corpus writ petition has been filed on behalf of Lamichhane, who is in custody at Bhairahawa prison in Rupandehi for further proceedings on a cooperative fraud case.
