Kathmandu – The sixth edition of Sagarmatha Music Awards 2081 will be held. According to the statement issued by the organizing organization, applications for the sixth edition of the award are open. Program coordinator Manoj Thapa informed that the main slogan of ‘Respect of Nepali art and creators, conservation and promotion of Nepali culture is our mission’ will be given by the song and music that has been released in the market from 2080 Baisakh to Chaitra. The five editions of Sagarmatha Music Awards have been successfully completed. According to the organizers, the sixth edition will be held in Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia. Artists from all over the country can participate in the 6th Sagarmatha Music Awards 2081 in national, movie, modern, folk and pop genres. Lifetime Achievement Award will be given to a special person who has contributed in the field of Nepali song and music. According to the organizer Artha Nepal Pvt Ltd, the award will be given to musicians who have made a special contribution in the field of music. A senior color journalist will be honored with Silver Journalism along with cash. The organizers said that the application form of the award can be filled from the official website of Sagarmatha Music Award. The organizing committee of the sixth edition of Sagarmatha Music Awards 2081 consists of program chief Purushottam Basnet, program coordinator Manoj Thapa, Sanam Kathayat, Usha Subedi, Mukund Basnet and Kushal Khatri.
