Kathmandu, July 31: The meeting of the National Assembly (NA) is taking place at 1:15 this afternoon.
As shared by the Federal Parliament Secretariat, Home Minister Sudan Gurung is scheduled to respond to the questions on Home Ministry.
Likewise, Minister for Education and Sports Sasmit Pokharel is also expected to answer the questions of lawmakers on the ministry.
As per today’s parliamentary business, NA Member Kamala Panta is scheduled to draw attention of the Home Minister on government’s preparedness for the monsoon-induced disaster management.
During the meeting, NA Chairman Narayan Prasad Dahal is expected to table a condolence motion over the demise of former House of Representative Member and Constituent Assembly Member Gopal Man Shrestha.
Meanwhile, a meeting of the parliamentary Committee on Education, Health and Information Technology is summoned at 2:00 this afternoon.
