Kathmandu, Aug 7: Four bills were presented before the House of Representatives (HoR) on Friday.
Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Sobita Gautam, on behalf of Prime Minister Balendra Shah, presented the ‘Bill Relating to Remunerations, Terms and Conditions and Facilities of Constitutional Bodies (first amendment)’.
Likewise, Foreign Minister Sishir Khanal tabled the ‘Passport (first amendment) Bill, 2083’ while Minister for Women, Children, Gender and Sexual Minorities, and Social Security, Sita Badi, presented the ‘ Human Trafficking and Transportation (Control) (first amendment) Bill, 2083’.
Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies, Gauri Kumari Yadav, tabled the ‘Mines and Minerals Bill, 2083’ before the Lower House session.
As announced by Speaker Dol Prasad Aryal, proposals to present the Bills were endorsed by the session as no members presented an objection in regard to the bills.
President of the State Affairs and Good Governance Committee, Hari Dhakal, presented a report relating to the revival of the previous provisions of the ‘Nepal Special Service Act-2042’.
The HoR will meet again at 1:00 pm coming Monday.
